When installing the single-lever bath mixer Metris, the mixer’s basic set is completely hidden in the wall, that is concealed “under the plaster”. (The installation is based on the hansgrohe iBox universal basic set for concealed installation.) The specialist then fits the flat, round chrome set with single-lever handle and changeover to the elegantly concealed technology. This not only looks terrific, but also increases the space and freedom of movement when bathing and showering because there is no sweeping mixer to get in the way. The Metris mixer is modern in design, and blends with any bathroom ambience. Matching Metris mixers are also available for washstand, bidet and shower for a harmonious overall look.

The technical interior of this mixer is of very high quality. The patented ceramic mixer system is made at our own cartridge works in Germany’s Black Forest – for smooth handling and an even water flow. A sound absorber muffles noise, and the Boltic handle lock ensures that the lever remains wobble-free for a long time to come. A temperature limit can be set to prevent the water from becoming too hot – also ideal for children and the elderly.
